1. ARGUING / PHYSICAL CONTACT: ABSOLUTELY NO PHYSICAL CONTACT, OF ANY KIND, WILL BE TOLERATED. Do not argue with other players, the referee, or in any way try to instigate a fight. . YOU WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE FIELD IMMEDIATELY AND THE AUTHORITIES CONTACTED!

2. BARREL COVERS: These should be on your marker at all times. The only exception, is when you are on the shooting range (with your goggles on), or you are instructed by a referee to take it off. When you are eliminated from a game, the first thing you should do is put your barrel cover on.

3. NO BLIND FIRING: You must be looking at what you are shooting at. For example: Do not stick your marker around the corner (without looking) and start firing. The "Pray and Spray" method is not very effective.

4. CHEATING: PEOPLE WHO "WIPE" SUCK!!!!! Cheating takes away the fun, and will not be tolerated. Cheaters will be dealt with according to the "Majority Rules" form of discipline.

5. CHRONO SPEED: 285 fps. You must chrono any non-rental markers with a referee before playing.

6. ELIMINATED PLAYERS: Any/All eliminated player(s) may not communicate with their team in any way (vocal, hand signal, etc.)!!!!! (See: Cheating).

7. ELIMINATION: You are out when you are hit by a paintball and it breaks on you, NOT your equipment (marker, pods, etc.) Be sure to check and see if the paintball broke, they will sometimes bounce. If you can’t see it, ask someone next to you (or yell for paintcheck and a ref will come to assist you). If you yell "hit", or "out", you are eliminated from the game whether or not it broke. Be sure to check first. If a paintball breaks on something in front of you, and just splatters, you are not out. It must hit, and break, on you. When you are eliminated, yell either "hit" or "out". Put your hand in the air, wait a second, and then show yourself. This gives your opponents time to see that you are out. Once you’ve established that you are out, immediately put your barrel cover on and walk to the designated dead zone. KEEP YOUR GOGGLES ON! If you can not see, ask the ref to assist you. DO NOT shoot people with their barrel covers on!

8. GOGGLES: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE. You MUST have your goggles on any time there is a game going on, or if you see anyone with their barrel cover off. You must also wear your goggles at the shooting range. The referee will tell you when it is safe to take your goggles off. DO NOT LIFT OR TAKE YOUR GOGGLES OFF UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO. If this happens, the game will be stopped immediately, and the entire group will have to listen to the safety speech again. Do it again, and you are done playing for the day.

9. MARKERS: Be sure to keep your marker upright when you are shooting. They do not feed sideways or upside down. If you pull the trigger and nothing happens: check the bolt on the side (make sure it is pulled back). If If that is not it, check and make sure the safety is in the fire position. If that doesn’t work, call for a ref.

10. OVERSHOOTING: Do not shoot someone more than three times.

11. PAINT: This depends on the field you are attending. Generally, the rule is no "non-field" paint allowed. Only paint bought at the field will be allowed. You will be ejected for the day. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

12. 20-FOOT RULE (Cousins Paintball Fields): You must stay AT LEAST 20-feet away from your opponents at all times. If you get closer than 20-feet: the game will be stopped, both players will be backed up, and then the game will reume.

13. SURRENDER RULE: If you are within 12 feet, AND say “surrender,” that person is eliminated. They do not have a choice. If you run up from the front, or on the side: it is up to the person you are asking if they want to "give up". They do not have to surrender in that situation ,it only applies when the person doesn’t know you are there.

14. SWEARING: Please watch your mouth. Never direct a foul/negative comment towards another player, Referee, or Bystander.

15. If you need a paint check, have a marker problem, or anything that requires a ref: yell "referee" or your referee’s name. He/She will come to you. If you get up and walk to them they will help you, but you will be out for the game.
